FAQ’s
Why laser is the treatment of choice for hair removal?
Lasers remove hair giving long-lasting results. In only few sittings (six to eight sessions) we can clear your skin of unwanted hair that has bothered you for so long. Traditional hair removal methods such as waxing, shaving, depilatory creams, plucking/tweezing provide only temporary results — some for fewer than 24 hours. To make it worse, these methods can often stimulate hair growth!
How does laser remove hair?
Hair removal lasers emit a light at a specific wavelength that is known to be absorbed by the pigment (colour) in the hair follicle - without damaging the surrounding skin. The light is converted to heat energy, which in turns burns & disables the hair follicle so that it will not produce another hair.
What are the side effects of laser hair removal?
Very rarely temporary side effects can be seen which include redness, swelling. With good sun protection, chances of side effects are almost none. Usually there are no permanent side effects.
Is laser hair removal uncomfortable or painful?
You may experience a little but manageable sensation that we describe as a "pinch" or a "zap" when we pulse the laser. Most of our former waxing, threading and electrolysis clients report that the discomfort is far less than those methods of hair removal.
What makes a laser hair removal treatment safe and comfortable?
We use a patented Advanced Contact Cooling System™ to protect your skin during a laser hair removal treatment. The laser’s light emerges through a sapphire crystal window that is pressed against your skin, to instantly remove the heat that gives you a little “pinch” feeling as the laser pulses. You experience minimum discomfort during a laser treatment.
What areas of the body can be treated with laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal lasers can safely treat any body part.
How long does a laser hair removal treatment take?
We are using a high-speed probe which takes 20 minutes for legs & back and just 60 minutes for full body. This is the fastest treatment possible with any laser.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Most patients require 6 to 8 sessions to achieve clearance of the treated area. Only few patients require more than eight sessions.
Why multiple sessions are required?
Hair grow in repeating cycles, and only in the actively growing phase does the hair contain enough pigment to absorb sufficient energy to disable the hair follicle. When hair is in the dormant phase, it has little or no pigment, and it cannot absorb the laser light. When you come for your treatment, we disable all of the hair follicles with actively growing hair in the treatment area. A few weeks later, some of your dormant hair would have moved into the actively growing stage, and you will get treatment to disable those. As this cycle gets repeated, you experience increasing reduction of hair.
What is the interval between two sessions?
3-6 weeks, depending on the individual’s hair growth rate.
Can I wax in-between two sessions?
Waxing and threading can destroy hair follicles in active phase, so one MUST AVOIDthreading & waxing in between laser sessions.
What is the cost of laser hair removal?
The cost of laser hair removal varies depending on the area to be treated, density of hair, complexion of skin and other factors of the area treated. Our price for a single session ranges from as little as 1200 Rs to as much as 35000 Rs (full body). We provide generous cost-effective packages and “combo” pricing. You will find our pricing one of the least and our technology one of the best in whole Haryana.
Why is laser hair removal so much more expensive than the other methods of hair removal?
That is a MYTH. Laser is NOT more expensive, especially when you factor in the value of your time. Certainly, there is an up-front expenditure for a series of laser treatments – but you quickly get a return on your investment, all the while achieving your goal of hair removal!
Why would I choose laser hair removal instead of electrolysis?
Two factors favour laser over electrolysis: time and comfort. While electrolysis is effective, it works by inserting a tiny needle into each hair follicle, one at a time, and delivering a jolt of electricity and/or radio frequency energy. In contrast, the size of the treatment window on the laser head allows the laser to disable many hair follicles in a single pulse. We can treat an entire upper lip in 5 to 9 quick pulses, while an electrolysis would take up to hundreds of precisely placed “zaps” to cover the same area. Just think of the time commitment involved in larger areas, such as a back, bikini or full legs! In addition, you experience a less painful sensation with the laser.
